Fitting advice – these boots have a narrow fit. You might want to go one size larger than your normal size.
Cleaning
There are 3 steps to follow to prolong the life of your smooth leather cowboy boot.
1. Clean – remove dirt and dust from your boots regularly to prevent the dirt and dust from cutting away and drying out the microscopic fibers that make your boots strong and durable.
2. Condition – condition boots only when they are clean and dry so that the conditioner can penetrate through the pores to keep the leather soft and pliable. Using a lanolin-based conditioner will prevent the color and finish from changing on the leather of your boots. Oil based conditioners will slowly darken a boot with each application.
3. Polish – it will rejuvenate your boots and help revive the natural finish of the boot. It will also cover scratches and create a glossy finish.
Heat exposure
If your boots get wet, soak up excess moisture with a clean towel, then allow them to dry naturally. Do not use a heat source to speed up the process. Do not store in direct sunlight for prolonged times.
Storage
Ensure your boot is stored in dry & well ventilated room / closet. Do not store them when wet, let them dry before putting them away. Do not let them fold over, as this can create creases in the leather.
