Review on trailsaddle endurance saddle To begin with, the saddle is extremely light which makes it perfect for endurance riding. It is easy to use and quick to saddle. I find the seat of the saddle as well as the padding is very comfortable, which makes it nice for those long rides. Then comes the fitting of the saddle it fits perfectly and does not obstruct any movement on my horse. The horse can move freely and comfortably, also there is no sign of uncomfortable pressure points on my horses back or on his shoulders which I love. The saddle sits very lightly on my horses back and when you ride the saddle does not move around at all. The numnah also stays in its place does not shave the horse at all. The girth also makes no shaving marks as it is a very soft material and it straps around the horse very easily and nice and snug without any hassle. All and all the saddle’s got a very good and sturdy fit and you feel safe on it. The material of the saddle is strong and durable and I love the color red so I like it that is comes in a variety of colours. I find that the straps used is also a good and strong material but still kept at a minimum weight, same with the stirrups. The straps are very well positioned on the saddle and does not shave my legs at all. As soon as you look at the saddle it catches your eye and draws your attention and I am just in love with this saddle and I can’t wait for my next ride with this endurance saddle.

“I purchased the Trail Saddles 16” Carrera Endurance Saddle as a Christmas gift for my wife last year. We both compete in ERASA endurance races on our purebred arab mares. My wife’s steed is 14.7 hands and the saddle fits her perfectly. The saddle and numnah stay put and do not shift. The entire setup is very light and competes with imported Italian saddles at double this price. We experienced no rubbing or chaffing, which is essential in long distance endurance races. Overall we are very happy with the setup, as is our horse. We have set our own personal best times using this saddle and came first in the novice class at the 2021 Dullstroom Ride. I’ve now decided to treat myself to a matching set for this Christmas.
