Back in 2016 we looked much different. When people came to the shop they said things like

” oh, so this is just a hobby? “

 and boy were they right, we started out small, we ran the business in our spare time, putting time and effort into something that sometimes felt like ” what’s the point”. 

So, it made our hearts leap when we got a strange email one day from someone claiming they were working for Glamour Magazine and wanted to borrow our hats to do a photoshoot. At first, we naturally thought it was a scam…could we really have caught the eye of a major fashion and lifestyle magazine? But after doing some checks and balances we agreed to ship some 6X Stetson Hats down to Cape Town, hoping we would get them back.

A few weeks later we could not wait to run to the nearest store and buy our copy of Glamour. 

 Those glossy pages weren’t just a feature—they were a turning point. They reminded us why we started, and that maybe, just maybe, we were onto something worth chasing.
