Why Measuring Your Head is Important

A stylish, perfectly fitting hat speaks loud about your style and confidence.

Most high-quality hats come in a range of sizes, but it can be tricky to know which hat is best for you.

Read on and learn how to measure your head correctly and get some tips to help you find the perfect style and size hat for your head.

Steps for Measuring Your Hat Size

Finding a hat that fits properly is a large part of finding the perfect hat. A hat that fits just right will elevate your facial features and take out outfit to the next level.

However, a hat that does not fit correctly will sit in your closet and only cause headaches (literally) and frustration.

1. Get a Soft Measuring Tape

Get a soft measuring tape or a piece of string.

Wrap the soft tape or loose string around your head where you would like your hat to sit.

  1. We recommend about 1 cm above your ear and about 2cm above your brow line.
  2. DON’T PULL THIS TOO TIGHT
  3. If you pull your tape or string too tight you will choose the incorrect size, there should be enough room for comfort.

2. Take note of the Measurement

With your finger, pinch and hold where the end of the soft measuring tape or string intersects with itself to mark your measurement.

Now record your measurement!

3. Measure again!

Always measure a few times to ensure you get the same measurement two or more times in a row.

Now find your size in the hat size chart below or choose the corresponding CM measurement from the item dropdown.

Pro Tip

If you are between sizes, go for the larger  size and add a sizing tape or sizing insert to your order.
